Aqeel Art Store

Creative Web Design and Development

Aqeel Art Store needed more than a conventional portfolio. We designed an immersive, gallery-inspired experience that allows paintings, artists, curated collections, and catalogues to unfold through a carefully paced digital journey.

Overview

A personal gallery, built as one continuous experience

Aqeel Art Store is a personal art-gallery portfolio created to present original paintings, curated collections, represented artists, and downloadable catalogues through one distinctive digital experience. The website combines editorial storytelling with exhibition-inspired interactions, allowing the artwork to remain the central focus.

The project balances the owner's personal gallery identity, artwork presentation, artist discovery, collection browsing, and purchase or commission inquiries — all within a single guided journey.

The Challenge

Presenting a collection without losing its atmosphere

Standing apart from templates

Avoiding the appearance of a generic portfolio template while keeping the experience easy to navigate.

Space for every painting

Showing a large collection without visual clutter, giving each piece room to be seen properly.

One exhibition, many rooms

Creating distinct sections — featured work, collections, artists, catalogues — that still feel like one continuous exhibition, open to both quick browsing and deeper exploration.

Clear details, not a spec sheet

Presenting artists, mediums, dimensions, and prices clearly without the layout feeling clinical.

Image quality without the slowdown

Keeping artwork sharp and color-accurate at a large scale without creating a slow-loading website.

From gallery floor to conversation

Translating a physical gallery atmosphere to mobile screens, and creating a direct inquiry path instead of a traditional checkout system.

Creative Direction

Designed to feel curated, not templated

Every section is meant to feel like entering a different room within the same gallery.

Where Creativity Meets Curation

The opening experience works like an exhibition entrance. It introduces the gallery identity through cinematic spacing, restrained typography, and a mosaic of artwork before inviting visitors deeper into the collection.

Featured Paintings

Giving selected work the space to lead

A large, focused presentation puts one painting at a time in front of the visitor, with the artist name, artwork title, and price alongside simple previous and next controls — so the featured pieces lead, rather than compete for attention.

Art Store Collection

An archive built for scanning, not scrolling

The collection archive makes a broad range of artwork easier to scan while preserving the visual character of each piece — artist, medium, dimensions, and price sit alongside the work rather than in a separate list.

Walking the Hallway

A digital hallway for the permanent collection

Selected paintings are arranged in an intentional visual sequence — artist, title, medium, dimensions, and price travel with each piece, resembling a walk past artwork hung in a physical gallery.

Visitors can open any frame for the full artwork detail without leaving the flow of the hallway.

About the Gallery

A space with its own point of view

The gallery introduces itself around three ideas, in its own words:

  • — a curated space for contemporary and timeless work,
  • — careful selection and presentation of every featured artwork, and
  • — a bridge between established and emerging artists.

These are the gallery's own stated approach and curatorial voice, presented as written by Aqeel Art Store — not a verification or authentication service built by 92 Nodes.

From the Studio Shelf

A closer look from the studio shelf

A lighter, more spontaneous strip of artwork brings a change of pace between the larger gallery sections — close-up presentation with simple previous and next interactions and artist attribution.

The Artists

Helping every artist keep their own identity

The artist directory gives each represented artist a distinct point of entry while allowing visitors to browse the wider collection by artistic category.

Downloads

Taking the collection beyond the website

Collectors and interested visitors can view or keep the full portfolio and price catalogue without browsing every artwork individually.

Selected Works

An interactive wheel of selected works

Artwork frames rotate through a circular arrangement; hovering or tapping brings a piece forward, with previous and next controls and the current artwork and medium always in view. The motion stays lightweight rather than distracting, so it adds discovery without replacing standard navigation.

Contact

From appreciation to conversation

Instead of forcing visitors through a conventional checkout, the experience guides interested collectors toward a direct conversation about availability, purchasing, appointments, and custom artwork — with a floating WhatsApp action available throughout the site.
